1.  Passengers must wear safety vest in extreme weather or at the Captains request.

2.  Horseplay is not allowed either dockside or onboard, as serious injuries may occur. 

3.  New York State Law requires children age 12 and under to wear an approved safety vest AT ALL TIMES.

4.  We fish with artificial lures.  We may have worms and minnows available.

5.  NO ALCOHOL permitted on board.

6.  Passengers must follow the direction of our staff at all times for safety. Any violation or failure to comply with direction may void the contract and forfeit expenses already paid.

7.  Trips may be cancelled due to inclement weather at our discretion, whether it is occurring or forecasted.  Balance to be paid back according to the fee schedule. Cancellations by customers within 72 hours of a trip are subject to a fifty percent cancellation fee. In short, If you cancel, your deposit is absorbed by Let's Go Fishin' LLC.  If we cancel a charter at the last minute the fees will be charged accordingly to the number of hours spent on the water.  Cancellations by us on the day of a trip are subject to a $7.00 per person charge for subs and soft drink already purchased which you will receive at the time of cancellations.

9.   If you choose to bring your own equipment onboard, we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to your equipment regardless of how it became damaged or lost, or who damaged or lost it. 

10.  Half day charters are available upon request.  The fee for half day charters are equivalent to a 30% discount off your regular fees.  For example, the rate for 2 on a weekday is equal to $220.00 plus the fuel surcharge for a full day.  The half day cost would be $154.00 plus the fuel surcharge.

11.  The Captain may at his discretion, fish or direct a member of his crew to fish, to ensure that there are indeed fish in the area and increase your odds of reeling a fish in. 

12.  Fishing is called fishing and not catching for a reason.  If during a paid charter, no fish are caught, we may offer you a discount of 50% off on another charter for the same people or offer you a discount on the charter itself.  During a 50% charter, we reserve the right to fish during the entire time on the water. 

13.  We request that all passengers treat our equipment as if it were their own. Damage caused by intentional abuse will require your replacement or repair. Intentional damage to equipment is grounds for cancellation of the charter and forfeiture of all fees paid.  In the event the damages are more than  the fee you paid, you will be subject to the balance of damages and legal fees if we are required to pursue that matter.  Decision on matters of damages are to be made by our staff.

14. Checks that are cancelled, have insufficient funds, or are returned for any reason will carry a mandatory $40.00 processing fee. 

15.  All photographs taken by our staff may be placed on our internet site or one of our many sponsors' sites without compensation to you and without prior approval.  Any request to have your photographs not included on our site or sponsors' sites will be granted once we are made aware of it.  The purpose of the photographs is to document what we do when we go out on a fishing adventure.  This is also a way for you to allow family and friends to see your photos without having to tie up their emails with large files.  Your photos may also be downloaded by yourselves by right clicking and saving the images to your computer. 

16.  All half day charters are scheduled for 3 hours and all full day charters are scheduled for 6 hours.    Holidays and tournament days will be charged at the weekend rate. 

17. To win a Free 1/2 day Charter for catching the heaviest in season fish, the following four conditions must be met:   (1) The fish must be one of the following species - Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, or Muskellunge.  (2)  The fish must be caught on a paid charter during the current calendar year, (3) The fish must not only take over First Place on the current year's leader board, but it must remain in First Place until midnight on December 15th, AND (4) The fish must be larger than the fish of the same species posted in the Hall of Fame.  The winners for the free charters will be announced here on our website on December 16th.  Only the persons catching the winning fish are entitled to receive the free charter.  If anyone wishes to accompany one of the winners on their Free Charter, that person(s) must pay the full charter rate as if the free member were not onboard.  Prizes are not transferable and have no cash value.  All prizes must be used within the next fishing season and prior to November 1st.

18.  Gift certificates and charters that were awarded via another organization must be used within the year of issuance.    Charters that are won as part of a raffle must be used within the year of issuance.  Prizes, gift certificate and raffle winnings are not transferable and have no cash value.  Gift certificates that were purchased as a gift for a family member must be used within 1 year of date of issuance.  Purchased Gift certificates that are not used within 1 year from date of issuance are subject to a 25% loss in the first year and 50% additional loss on the 2nd year.  A purchased gift certificate is considered gone after the third year of non usage.  If the purchaser of a gift certificate has an issue or disagrees with our Gift certificate rules they must file a notice to us at Let's Go Fishin' 103 Stoughton Ave Massena, NY 13662 within 30 days of purchase of said gift certificate or hereby waive such rights to file any complaints whatsoever. 

19.  Our season begins the first Saturday in May until Thanksgiving or Dec 15th.  After Thanksgiving we will only be open on days where the weather conditions or time allow for us to be on the water.  All charters for the month of November must be scheduled 1 month ahead of time.  If you have a gift certificate that expires this year you must schedule an appointment by October 1st of the current year or you will lose the ability to use the gift certificate and it's value.   There is no exception to this rule.
